Exactly what it says on the tin.
What are you listening to?

Alex Band. Absolutely great solo stuff. He was the lead singer in The Calling, for those who don't think they know him.

Had Phil Collins playing very loud to keep me awake last night! Might have to do the same at work cause I'm not sure I'll make it to midnight otherwise!

I've been really getting into Daughter. What an intriguing sound they've got.

Daughter are awesome! I think Youth is an awesome track.
Oddly, I'm on a more classic train at the moment, following on from Mr Collins yesterday, I'm cracking out some Queen this evening!

When drinking a glass of vino as I currently am, I always listen to musical theatre or tacky pop. Tonight it's the former, in the form of WE WILL ROCK YOU!

I've also been digging back into Amy Studt. Her second album's kind of overdramatic in places, but it's got some great intensity that helps with character work for me.

Also browsing spotify, trying to find something new but it's starting to feel like a Lana Del Rey kinda day.

I have quite a few Lana del Ray days recently. Digging into some areas on my iPod I haven't explored in a while. For example, Adele, who I've mostly ignored in recent months.

I've been listening to "Batman: No Man's Land" audiobook for a couple weeks now and just realized that my Ipod have been on shuffle and so I haven't been listening to it in the proper order.

Rediscovered one of my favourite albums, Poe's Haunted. So, toggling between that and the Daughter discography I just got my hands on.

Recently discovered the Michael Clayton soundtrack, and re-discovered Of Monsters and Men, who I hadn't listened to in a while. Really good stuff for writing, but I haven't given up on my Hans Zimmer and Ramin Djawadi - can't beat them for music when concentrating.

Florence + the Machine's MTV Unplugged album is absolutely gorgeous. I typically hate live/unplugged albums, but this genuinely brings a new tone and feeling to some of my favourite tracks.

Got bored of my current playlist so injected a bunch of new stuff - Mumford and Sons, Civil Wars, Anya Marina, and even the newest Taylor Swift album (as Tom East is big on it). It's helping refresh my creative spirit.
