Updating my iPod to include the albums of Ben Howard, Lana Del Rey and various current Top 40 singles. A love a good variety.

Steven Price's GRAVITY OST is brilliant. Some people aren't fans, but I really loved how dynamic the sound is, even if melodically it's not that vast. And the women's voices in the soundtrack are simply stunning - that kind of range is incredible (and makes me wish I could sing that high!)
If anyone like ambient music, get on it!!

I've been on a major pop tear recently, with the new Shakira/Rihanna collab getting a lot of airtime in my earbuds.

I've been listening to a lot of Celldweller / techno dance up beat music lately and it's a major Spider-Man kickstarter and I'm hoping to get snow so I can start to do the pilot episode. Thank goodness for Spotify.

I'm drunk for the first time in months. Listening to my iPod on random and damn near everything it falls on is making me sob. Everything from Fun.'s "Stars" to Gangsta's Paradise to The Muppets: The Green Album. It all started with an mp3 version of The Dead Island Announcement Trailer and just spiraled out of control from there. All this musics milked a good seven stories out of me though. Think I need to cry more.

Doing a rewatch of "Longmire" season two last week and I re-discovered this song. Can't stop listening.

Recently found out my best mate's boyfriend make music (and is set to compose music for an upcoming indie feature film). It's really nice, calming music. soundcloud.com/qmartinyKeep an eye out for "Again" - I reckon it's his stand out track. Also a decent cover of Youth by Daughter, a band I discovered recently (quite late) and they're incredible as well.

I've absolutely fallen for Vienna Teng's gorgeous, moving Antebellum. Be sure to pay attention to the lyrics...
And also, Eli Lieb's fantastic new track Safe in My Hands - created specially for Allstate's new LGBT-focused campaign - makes me feel things:

Sia's new album, 1000 Forms of Fear, is pretty fantastic. "Chandelier", "Cellophane" and "Free the Animal" in particular. Great stuff.

Trying to listen to score for "The Leftovers" on spotify but they seem to have increased the rate in which they play commercials and it's very distracting. I haven't torrented music in quote some time thanks to spotify but I may just have to head back to it just for the peace and quiet music days.
