Hey Compass peeps! Just thought I'd share some videos to kinda introduce myself to the site. Here's a link to my recent demo reel — vimeo.com/shannonlitt/reel and my main site www.shannonlitt.com. Annnnd while I've written/directed a ton of stuff, to be honest most of it was learning what the frak I was doing so it's pretty shit. Here are my top three shorts that I'm actually decently proud of! Thorns Part 1 — Thorns Part 2 — Busker Love — Lemme know your thoughts/critiques! I'm always looking to learn

I really liked "Thorns" and I really have to say that I hope you do more with that. I could see that being interesting! You obviously have some good talent when it comes to the video series side of things. This is something I would really love to get into, but...Anyways - I give it a good solid "A".

Dan, thanks! That would be awesome Andrew, I would absolutely love to produce more "Thorns" but alas, there's one company here in Toronto making web-series of the calibre I imagined for the series I'll always have it in my back pocket, though, for sure. I actually watched them over and GAH! I wrote/directed/produced "Thorns" about 2 years ago, and dear lord have I learned so much more. I would have done a million things differently. My eyes... they're burning...

I think doing a video web series would be the ultimate accomplishment as far as for me and where I believe I could go. I know that doing an actual tv show/movie on the big screen would be the ultimate but I think it would be more fun and you don't have to worry about getting to that platform and then risk losing it a year later. I think it was was pretty good!

I agree! It really was the ultimate accomplishment at the time - and actually, as it turns out I can't stay away from long >.< My partner in crime, Alex Shutsa, and I are gearing up to shoot another web-series in September haha. If you've got scripts for web-series send them my way at shannonlitt@me.com! If you're interested, of course. I'm always on the lookout for great concepts

I have a concept. I have a script (60+ pages) and would love to see in video form BUT I'm just really learning to write scripts (I mean I write scripts but flaws are usually found ). I may keep this in mind!
