The VPN is a 'virtual series network' that first made its way onto the web in October of 2008. Producing a number of scripts over the years (and continuing in doing so), the network strives to be a place that welcomes and encourages new, amateur writers, with the hopes of them learning more about what they already love to do; operating with a "learning-by-doing" mentality, in order to help pave the way for growing writers to discover their creative voice and vision. The VPN also assists in building creativity, leadership and networking skills, as well as developing strong professional and personal bonds, while operating in a safe, family-friendly, environment! If you are not a writer, you can still become a part of our community! Readers are welcome to join the forum - In fact, they are a crucial part of the "VS world." Readers can also take part in discussions on a large array of subjects, from "writing techniques" to "favorite television shows."The network currently has a variety of virtual series', within genres ranging from Action/Adventure, Drama/Comedy, Crime/Mystery and almost everything in between! So, feel free to sign up to our forum and introduce yourself!www.vpn-tv.proboards.comAnd you may also want to bookmark our Official Website: www.vpntv.net

theVPN l September 2013! Tons happened for theVPN last month! Not only have two shows been rebooted, but a new project has been launched for all virtual series sites! First, “The Path Not Taken,” created by Brian Melanson, has been announced it will undergoing a reboot! When asked what his reasoning behind rebooting the series was, Melanson replied, "When I started season two of the show, writing the scripts wasn't as fun as I wanted it to be. To me it felt a little to unrealistic in the sense of what I was going for. The messages I wanted to get across were covered up by cheesy lines." The series will be led by Brian Melanson (The Path Not Taken) and Jay Paterson (Winchester), both serving as co-executive producers and writers.
Producers say they’re aiming for a mid-2014 release date! Secondly, “The Void” has received a new showrunner: Chris Davis (Trinity, Gangland). This comes with news that Carey Broadbent, the original creator of the series, has stepped down. But fear not! The show will still have its anthology-like nature, although now each story will be told over the course of one season. The first season is said to run for six episodes. The synopsis goes as followed: Set in 1925, The Void: Sanctum follows a group of students and teachers at the Sanctum Rose Academy; a church turned co-ed boarding school with a haunting past. As the series opens in the first year that female students are being accepted, a young girl joins her older brother at the academy, but is unaware of the physical, and psychological torment lying in her wait, as she becomes the target of a vengeful group of spirits dating back over half a century. The Void: Sanctum has been slated for a 2014 release with Chris Davis, Amin Caluk, and Carey Broadbent serving as executive producers and/or writers.
And finally, VSGuide Weekly has made its debut! VSGuide Weekly gives readers the opportunity to ask questions about their favorite airing and/or upcoming virtual series/film projects, and have those questions answered by the showrunners and producers themselves! Compassfolk, I'm urging you to take a chance on TheVPN's script series Easy. I'm not unbiased - I've written four episodes and have four more on the docket over the next season. But the fact is, I signed on because I trusted Tom East, planning to give notes and maybe write one ep, but then I fell in love with the show. Audience response has been in the same vein - startled by its quality and now enthusiastic fanlove. Best way to describe it is Gossip Girl as written by the writers of Awkward, essentially, and it's a ton of sexy, snarky, teenage fun. Read season one, see if you fall in love too.

That's a really nice thing to say, thanks dude! I'm just going to add that any and all feedback is appreciated and a big thank you to those of you who have already read season one. Hopefully the upcoming second season won't disappoint!
